Существенным преимуществом новой технологии является отсутствие в ЭМА преобразователях постоянного магнита, что позволяет избежать сильного притяжения преобразователя к поверхности объектов из ферромагнитных сталей, проводить сканирование объекта контроля и исключает налипание металлической стружки на протектор преобразователя, тем самым увеличивая его срок службы.
